Keep on holding.

Sorry for the lack of posts (to the small handful of people who actually read this). I'm going to be putting this on pause until I get my camera. But who knows, there could be some pop-up blogs within the next two weeks...so keep checking up on me :)

Love you all!

The Lights Are Out On Every Street.

I'm still trying to get used to the idea of blogging. It's odd, ya dig? Putting yourself out there for ALL to see. Ugh...before I psyche myself out, let me continue to my actual post.

Today I wore some boyfriend jeans, snake skin sandals, and a black v-neck. (Working on starting pictures) Basic, huh? I know..I was disappointed. But after a surprise stay at the boyfriend's house last night, I was stuck. As I drove to work, I couldn't help but think "what the hell could make this boring outfit better?" A NECKLACE! A FUCKING NECKLACE!

Can you guess what this post is about? Yes, v-neck tees. Haha, nah..necklaces. Just a few of my current favorites. I must warn you, I'm currently OBSESSING over obnoxious statement necklaces.

1.

I'm a sucker for feathers. ANYTHING feathers. Especially black ones. In fact..I think that's tomorrow's post. You'll have to excuse my way of..'blogging'. It;s very unorganized and well..it's literally going to be my every thought. Now back to the feathers. There's just something about wearing a string of them around your neck that makes you feel, oh, airy?

2.

This, my friends, is bitching. And elegant. And beautiful. The stones are made of crushed Amethyst and Swarovski crystals. The band, a very charming silk. I love the idea of wearing it all day. During the day, I would pair it with high wasted trousers (think Olivia Palermo) with a basic white tee, and then throw on an LBD and some heels. LOVING.

3.

Olivia, Olivia, Olivia. You are one of the biggest bitches in reality television. But honey, you have some of the most beautiful necklaces I've ever had the pleasure of looking at. The way that the stones are placed doesn't make it look so...generic. And it is a great way to add color to a black wardrobe. Which is something I definitely need in my life right now.

4.
Does this not make you think of a queen? Seriouly. This fourteen dollar necklace packs a little punch in the accessories department. Rhinestones, pearls, gold?! This is definitely in my shopping cart at the moment, and it is definitely getting paired with a nautical top and an a-line skirt.

1. Forever21   $10.80 (Hello?! Can you beat that?!)
2. Nordstrom   $158
3. Olivia Palermo for Roberta Freymann   (The line ranges from $175-$300)
4. Forever21   $14.80 (Again..can you beat that?!)

Thanks for reading my first real post! Leave me comments, thoughts, criticisms, your blog URL. Hell, send me all of them.

Rebirth. Or Back in the Womb?

So, this is my second attempt at doing a blog. The first time...well, it went down in flames. Let's hope this baby soars.

My 'goal' for this blog, is to spread my wings a little bit more with fashion. To boldly go where no fat girl in Rome, Georga has ever gone before. Cheesy, wasn't it? I'm not too sure if this will last a year...a month..or a week. But we'll see. Hold onto your Spanx girls, because I can promise it'll be an adventure!
